catch a can of air unplug the notebook open it and blow out the hanger-on if its still noisy replace it
I would open out it up and clean it out.

Y'know blow it.

If that doesn't work, I'd invest contained by a new one.

How dated is your PC?
If you dont like the boom of this fan nearby are two optioons you have:

1)Either replace it

2)Or break it
Which admirer? Case, CPU, bridge fan, graphics card? Three possible solutions near some risks. If this is a newly occuring problem ie it used to be gentleness and now is isn't you might try lubing the lover. Open the case, crust the paper sign off the top of the devotee and put a drop of light grease on the bearing. I use a hypodermic syringe for this (I'm a nurse and have access to needles). Getting grease on the motherboard is a no no! Or buy a quieter fan. Or buy a device that allows you to control the speed of the admirer, put in heat monitoring software and reduce the speed of the offending hanger-on while still getting sufficient cooling. Depending on which fan this is, replacing it may require completely removing the motherboard from the travel case. Good luck.
Just replace it with a modern and silent one.They are not expensive..
