The time set on my workstation why does this ensue?

You may be configured to the incorrect timezone (or not have the daylight nest egg option checked) - any way, if you enjoy the option to sync to Internet time, it will be adjust automatically to the wrong time. Easy to fix - either correct what timezone you are within, or disable Internet time syncing

*EDIT

Ignore the first response - if your battery be at fault you would potential see other issues occurring, like application failure (some features actually check against the BIOS time-setting to see if setting hold been tamper with to draw from around copy-right protections).
the computer has a clock similar tou a wrist see, it has a small batter inside that will hold the time even when you unplug your computer. some times this battery can turn bad and effect the clock to work improperly especially when the computer is shut down/ restarted. the single think you can do to fix it would be to find the mobile and replace it, it has to be rechargible. it is probably the size of a nicle or a quarter
