if the cd rom driver is missing from the system, how will you troubleshoot it?

Troubleshooting a cd rom driver??
simple. unplug ur computer
open out the cpu cabinet.
check if the power cable and the data cable are tightly fixed. of late remove it once. blow them and then re fix them
this should sought ur problem. the cd drive is sometimes not detected when it's power cable go loose

There really isn't a driver for a CD ROM. What is the problem you are have with it?
jump to control panel and search for it
If it is wixp it will detect automitaclly or rummage the cd rom drives for the internet it will be of free of cost and the imp report is mscdex.exe is the imp folder.
First i will change the Data cable and install the cd rom drivers
with the sole purpose dos need driver files for cdrom...adjectives windows flavours will lift it automatically..so you are facing some another problem..check in bios cd drive detected or not.
