my computer will not consent to me run scan disk to defragment my computer and there is no nouns can you help.My computer is also runing slow

scan disk and defrag are two different programs. own you gone to "My Computer", right clicked on the C Drive (hard disk) and selected properties? This should bring up the pane with a "Tools" tab and confer you the option for scan disk or defrag. This won't solve your paucity of sound problem, but probably wants to be done. Consider running AdAware SE personal addition too. It will verbs up unwanted spyware/adware. Then run Windows Update from the "Tools" menu in internet explorer. Try shutting down your Virus Scanner. If that doesn't work, try booting into Safe Mode to run defrag/scandisk (which are truly 2 separate programs that do 2 different things).



Your PC may be running slow because it has lots of spyware...run get Ad-Aware software and scan it and grasp rid of everything it finds.



As far as you not having nouns, it could be a number of things. Make sure your speakers are turned on and turned up. Make sure you do not hold the sound on mute. Check your multimedia devices contained by device manager and trademark sure everything shows as working properly.
