SV host is a DLL utility used by XP I'm guessing ordinarily you will return with occasional spikes in amusement as DLL are used constantly. Hoverer you could have a Trojan or Virus , Try running an anti-spy programme and virus check of late to be sure but whatever you do do not disable it yourself, it will destabilise your system. more info can be found on the Microsoft website or at the knit below
i have 5 svchost.exe running on my mission manager and cpu 100% but p.c runs fine, if ur p.c runs really slow afterwards you might have avirus, not sure why i hold 5??...
Nope can't stop it in XP.
