Not sure how this works, but my GeForce 8800 video card have an HDTV out. It looks just approaching an S-Video out except it's got more pins. In reality, if I use the HDTV to S-Video cable provided with my HDTV, I find a 480i resolution.
I have see that there are s-video close to cables that are converted to YPrPb (component r,b,g). This course, I can connect my computer to my hdtv without have to buy a dvi to hdmi convertor.
Any idea what these cable are called and if can buy them at circuitcity/
S-Video to HDTV?
I don't know what they are call but the only place that I know you can buy them is from ATI. If you bought the card by it self it should enjoy come with the cable. Don't know how masses pins you have but here are the links for 7 and 9 pin cable.
