First of adjectives check if the the speakers are powered on. Then check if they respond by touching the end of the pin going into the computer from the speakers. If you do hear a nouns, then the speakers are okay.

Then undo the main volume control, and see if any of the boxes are checked. Make sure by going to properties on the volume control and unfurl all disguised options for test. If any of the boxes are checked to be kept as mute, speakers will not sound of.

If none of these ar echecked, the nouns card may be defective.

At that stage, best would be to take the PC to a technician.
