The Celeron is chunk of what class processor? 1-AMD 2-80386 3-80486 4-Pentium?
Celeron have a very similar arquitecture as a pentium have. That's why you can use the same sucket for both processors and both support heaps of the same feautures. Granted, pentium is a high class, Celeron its a lower class for more affortability. Has nothing to do near AMD.
a lower version of the pentium
celeron resourcefully this name is the partially price version of pentium however could be 2,3 or 4, as a rule tell from the speed of the processor, mines a 2.2Ghz
AMD are completely different are intels rivals
Celeron is Intels budget processor or agreed as a D processor. Its nothing to do near a Pentium.
It's not really any of them, Pentium is just a heading and the celeron is a different chip all together.
budget class...lower than Pentium
Intel 80686 base not exactly Pentium :) although some people nickname it but it's architecture is different than of Pentium that's why it comes a little cheaper.
Hope that help!
PS: You can see details at:
http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/pr...
(just browse through difference class tabs)
Celeron is a product of Intel that have different classes of processor. AMD and Pentium is also product entitle, 80386 and 80486 is a type of processor.
P3
Celerons are basically portion of the pentium family but near less on the ship cache.
